VP, Relationship Manager, Commercial Lending – Georgetown / Round Rock, TX

FinTrust Connect has partnered with a well-capitalized regional banking institution to identify top talent for a senior commercial lending role serving the Georgetown and Round Rock market. This confidential search is focused on a proven relationship manager who can take ownership of an existing book of business, deepen client relationships, and drive new C&I and middle market growth in a highly visible market expansion role.

Function:

Lead growth efforts in the Williamson County market by managing and expanding a commercial loan and deposit portfolio, retaining key client relationships, and building a strong pipeline of new middle market and commercial opportunities.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in commercial banking, with a strong track record managing complex C&I and middle market relationships

Demonstrated success developing and growing commercial loan and depository portfolios

Deep, credible market connectivity in Williamson County, including Georgetown, Round Rock, and Cedar Park

Formal credit training and strong commercial underwriting acumen

Solid understanding of deposit pricing, spread management, and overall relationship profitability

Proven ability to balance portfolio stewardship, client retention, and new business development

Strong collaboration skills and experience working within a team-based deal environment

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred

Description:

Serve as the lead relationship manager for a portfolio of commercial banking clients in the Georgetown / Round Rock market

Manage an active commercial loan and depository portfolio in the approximate $50MM to $75MM range

Drive market share recovery by deepening existing relationships and building a strong new business pipeline

Develop and maintain a qualified opportunity pipeline targeted at meaningful early-stage production within the first 90 days

Generate new operating account growth, with a strong emphasis on stable, relationship-based deposits

Retain inherited relationships and ensure a high-touch client experience across the portfolio

Structure and manage complex C&I and middle market opportunities in partnership with credit, treasury, and portfolio teams

Evaluate credit quality, relationship profitability, and deposit strategy to support sound growth

Operate with an owner’s mindset, treating the portfolio as a business unit while aligning with broader regional goals

Partner closely with internal deal team members to deliver tailored solutions and efficient execution for clients
