
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER (STREAMING) - WANF

Take live, local streaming news beyond the simulcast. Drive a bold editorial strategy that makes ANF+ an essential news source in the Atlanta market with dynamic live moments, smart storytelling, and programming designed for streaming.
Duties/Responsibilities
Streaming operations and editorial control
Maintain full editorial ownership of all streaming, including breaking news, weather coverage, special events, and secondary-stream programming.
Establish daily, weekly, and long-term streaming plans that prioritize the Atlanta News First brand, urgency, and streaming-first storytelling.
Ensure consistent quality, pacing, and branding across all streams.
Make real-time editorial decisions during breaking news and extended coverage.
Content development: lead development of streaming-exclusive content, optimize ANF and Gray content for streaming, foster collaborative partnerships with coworkers, subject matter experts, and community leaders.
Audience growth and performance: drive measurable growth on ANF+ through content strategy and execution, use analytics and audience data to guide programming decisions.
Education and training: serve as the newsroom's streaming champion, ensuring streaming is a primary integrated platform for news coverage, raise the organization’s streaming fluency by setting clear expectations and best practices for streaming-first storytelling, production workflows, and platform execution, lead hands‑on training, coaching, and refreshers for producers, reporters, anchors, and photographers, create a supportive learning environment that encourages experimentation, continuous improvement, and shared accountability for streaming quality and consistency, partner with newsroom leaders to identify skill gaps, develop simple training resources, and reinforce a culture where streaming is a core product.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a newsroom; broadcast‑adjacent digital experience preferred
Excellent news judgment, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong knowledge of AP style
Proven track record of working at a high level under tight deadlines
Demonstrated experience producing content for multiple platforms (broadcast, digital, streaming, or social media)
Must provide samples of recent work
Preferred Qualifications
On‑camera experience delivering live, unscripted information under deadlines
Excellent video editing skills with knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Edius
Experience with streaming platforms, such as V‑Mix
Proven track record of successful multi‑platform or streaming content production
Experience producing for both traditional broadcast and digital‑native audiences
Experience producing special projects or unscripted live events
