Continuous Improvement Manager | Allegan, MI
Salary Range: $95,000 - $142,000 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives and projects (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) across manufacturing operations.
Identify and analyze operational inefficiencies, waste, and bottlenecks to develop data-driven solutions.
Train, mentor, and coach employees at all levels on continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
Develop and implement CI strategies and advice aligned with organizational goals and production targets.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness and impact of CI efforts.
Facilitate cross-functional teams in problem-solving sessions and process mapping activities.
Drive the standardization of best practices and ensure their consistent application throughout the plant.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience leading continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Proven expertise in Lean methodologies (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen) and Six Sigma tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for complex data analysis.
Demonstrated experience leveraging Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, AI, automation) for process optimization.
Proficiency in financial modeling and cost-benefit analysis for continuous improvement projects.
Certification in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
