We are seeking a
Lead Field Superintendent
for upcoming large-scale projects in the
Wisconsin and Illinois
market ($30M-$60M with 12-18 month schedules). As the leader on site, you will own the daily plan, coordinate structural/MEP trades, and drive the construction schedule from start-up through turnover. You’ll set the pace for safety, quality, and productivity—partnering with the Project Manager, inspectors, and subcontractors to solve problems quickly and keep the build moving.
Leadership You’ll lead and develop the on-site team—setting clear expectations, coaching field staff and trade partners, and building a high-accountability culture centered on safety, quality, and schedule performance. Horizon supports your growth through our

program, which strengthens core superintendent leadership skills like communication, documentation, employee management, and field operations best practices.
What You’ll Bring
Proven superintendent experience leading multifamily or large-scale commercial construction projects.
Strong working knowledge of schedules, quality control, punch list/turnover, and subcontractor management.
Comfortable reading plans/specs and driving field coordination through RFIs and constructability solutions.
Safety-first leader with consistent, documented jobsite safety practices.
Compensation details: 100000-140000 Yearly Salary
