Sales Director - Industrial Construction

PMJOBS.US is seeking highly driven Sales Directors / Business Development professionals to support industrial engineering and construction organizations across the Greenville, SC and Birmingham, AL markets. The Director serves as a strategic revenue leader responsible for developing and executing business development strategies, managing key client relationships, and leading complex sales pursuits. This role focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to develop and execute winning strategies. The position requires the ability to engage with client leadership, understand organizational decision-making processes, and effectively position services and capabilities. The Director will lead proposal efforts, including bid strategy, presentations, and coordination with estimating, procurement, legal, finance, and operations teams. Success in this role is driven by the ability to build and maintain long‑term client relationships, manage multiple active pursuits simultaneously, and maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting through CRM systems. Additional responsibilities include participating in industry events, supporting sales and marketing initiatives, and contributing to overall market growth and visibility. Required Qualifications & Skills

8–10+ years of experience in industrial construction, engineering, or related business development/sales roles Proven ability to develop new business opportunities and grow existing client relationships Strong experience managing complex RFP/RFQ processes, proposals, and sales cycles Working knowledge of industrial markets such as chemical, manufacturing, power, metals, or heavy industrial sectors Strong understanding of contracts, risk profiles, and project delivery methods Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including estimating, procurement, and operations Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems for reporting and forecasting Willingness to travel as required to support client development and project pursuits
