
Client Relations Manager

Community Options, Inc. is a national non‑profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states. We are actively seeking a Client Relations Manager in Dallas, TX. The Client Relations Manager is a relationship‑driven business development and community partnership role focused on expanding access to high‑quality residential and support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This role is responsible for growing, strengthening relationships, and positioning Community Options as a trusted, mission‑aligned provider across assigned regions. Serving as a key liaison between Community Options and external stakeholders, the Client Relations Manager builds long‑term partnerships with external entities, guardians, funding authorities, and community organizations while collaborating closely with regional leadership to ensure service capacity aligns with community needs.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic outreach plans to grow programs across services
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and new stakeholders
Serve as a knowledgeable and trusted resource by assessing individual needs and aligning them with appropriate Community Options services
Represent the organization at community meetings, provider forums, and networking events to enhance visibility and strengthen partnerships
Collaborate with regional and state leadership on strategy, capacity planning, and service expansion opportunities
Participate in intake discussions and placement coordination to support timely, appropriate admissions
Maintain ongoing relationships with sources by providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring a responsive, solutions‑oriented experience
Track activity, outreach efforts, and outcomes in accordance with internal reporting expectations
Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned
Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
Minimum Requirements
Driver’s license required
High school diploma required
Background in case management, service coordination, or program leadership within the IDD system
Strong working knowledge of state waiver programs, eligibility requirements, and service authorization processes
Experience building professional relationships within human services, healthcare, or nonprofit environments
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders using a consultative, person‑centered approach
Comfort working independently in the community while coordinating closely with internal teams
