Senior Social Media Specialist Position Summary:
Full time salaried position
Onsite based out of our Tampa, FL location
The Senior Social Media Specialist will elevate Catalent’s brand credibility, and commercial pipeline influence through strategic, insight-driven social media that transforms capabilities into compelling, trust-building narratives that resonate and attract emerging and established wellness brands—positioning Catalent as the partner behind the most exciting products in the market. The role partners with Creative and Marketing Operations to develop content and social media marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and leads. The specialist analyzes performance metrics, stays current with industry trends, and provides data-driven insights to continually enhance the social media footprint. Scope may extend beyond wellness based on business needs.
The Role: Content Creation and Brand Management
Provide guidance on type of content relevant for the individual channels.
Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and Central Team to create content that highlights the company's expertise, achievements, and thought leadership.
Own corporate social media strategy and generate engaging and industry-relevant content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
Community Engagement
Foster and grow an active and engaged social media community.
Monitor social media channels for industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences.
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness and foster customer engagement.
Campaign Execution
Work with business units to build out plans for campaign creation in Salesforce.
Organize and maintain our social calendar for the specified platforms, including scheduling and publishing social content.
Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote specific product offerings and other initiatives.
Analytics and Reporting
Define, track and analyze social media performance metrics to assess the success of campaigns and overall social media presence.
Provide regular reports and insights to management, making data‑driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Collaborative Activities
Work alongside PMs and SMEs to help create content/events that attract target audiences.
Project manage stakeholder requests and ensure alignment with broader company and team objectives.
Other duties as assigned.
The Candidate:
BA/BS from an accredited college or university, preferably in Marketing.
3-5 years of experience working on digital and social campaigns on client-side or agency.
Proven success in building and executing campaigns across all social media platforms.
Knowledge of the evolving social media industry including new and emerging platforms.
Working knowledge of social listening tools.
Expert user of social platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.
