Personal Lines Producer - Odessa, FL (In-Office)
Established independent insurance agency serving the Tampa Bay area is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Producer to join a growing, relationship-focused team.
This is not a call center environment. We are looking for a producer who understands how to build and develop a book of business through referrals, community presence, and consultative selling.
What You’ll Do
Prospect and close new personal lines business (homeowners, auto, flood, umbrella)
Develop referral relationships with mortgage brokers, real estate agents, and local professionals
Work a mix of inbound marketing opportunities and self-generated leads
Cross-sell and round out household accounts
Educate clients on coverage options and Florida-specific exposures
What We’re Looking For
Active Florida 2-20 license preferred
3+ years personal lines production experience
Independent agency background strongly preferred
Multi-carrier quoting experience
Proven ability to generate and close new business
Knowledge of Florida homeowners and coastal market considerations
Relationship-driven, self-starter mindset
Compensation & Growth
$55,000 – $80,000 base salary (depending on experience)
Commission on new business
Renewal commission participation
Realistic Year 1 earning potential: $85K–$100K+
Long-term book growth opportunity
