Job Summary As an Iron Mountain Bureau Reporter, you will live in the Iron Mountain area and report on what matters to the local community for our television newscasts and station digital platforms.
Responsibilities
Report enterprise stories from the field and office in the Iron Mountain Bureau.
Write, edit, and produce stories from idea to on‑air and online.
Perform live shots from field locations.
Write and post stories to TV6 and FOX UP Website, Facebook, Twitter, and other station‑related platforms.
Engage in community involvement and personal appearances at local events.
Develop story ideas, find unique stories, and contribute to news coverage.
Use social media as a big part of news coverage.
Qualifications / Requirements
Valid driver’s license.
Strong grasp of English language, spelling, and grammar.
Ability to think outside the box and find stories that stand out.
Creative mindset and ability to develop contacts.
