Responsibilities The Director of Intensive Care reports to the Chief Nursing/Clinical Officer and oversees the delivery of quality client care utilizing the nursing process. This role ensures that care aligns with the philosophy and objectives of the hospital and the Department of Nursing, maintaining and supporting the standards of nursing care and practice to meet the health care needs of clients, families, and the community.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with a current Alabama RN License.
Current BLS upon hire.
ACLS and PALS certification required within six months of hire.
CCRN Certification required within two years for experienced RNs.
Complete Basic Dysrhythmia exam within 90 days of hire.
