Essential Job Functions:

Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats, and in person, communicating clearly and concisely while adapting style to suit customers by problem solving, excellent phone skills, and resolving conflict.

Use all systems to manage customer flow and deliver a five‑star customer experience.

Maintain all service levels by being prepared, welcoming, meeting customer needs, and being there for all customers—including operational checklist tasks and meeting both emotional and practical needs.

Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers at one time and help the store achieve five‑star customer service.

Proactively address customer concerns with confidence; know when to escalated and partner with the leadership team.

Explain how alterations can play an important role in perfecting the dress for her event, promoting all alteration services and personalization options.

Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting with customers regarding gown fit and customization.

Maintain store standards to support a flawless shopping experience.

Maintain a high standard of dress that complies with the Dress Code Policy.

Greets and escorts all alteration customers to and from alteration appointments.

Inspects garments altered, steamed, pressed, or cleaned to verify pristine condition before delivery to the customer.

Respond promptly to customer questions by providing product and service information.

Build long‑term customer relationships to exceed satisfaction and loyalty.

Manage inventory by processing special orders, pick‑ups, and ensuring first‑quality standards for all merchandise.

Ensure alteration pricing meets company standards.

Manage all alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing, and spot‑cleaning to company standards.

Resolve customer service issues swiftly and effectively in compliance with company guidelines.

Support all cash‑wrap behaviors and process transactions accurately, celebrating each customer.

Keep the alteration room clean and well‑organized.

Perform duties and tasks as assigned by store management.

Physical Demands:

Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit for extended periods; reach for tools and objects with hands and arms; climb stairs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; bend, twist, and stand; move throughout the store; and talk to and hear customers.

Manual dexterity needed for POS terminals, money counting, steaming garments, accessing computers, initiating/emergency telephone calls, sewing, and fittings.

Ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds.

Visual acuity for close and distant tasks, peripheral vision, depth perception, and use of computers, electronic devices, and phones for long periods.

Education & Credentials:

High school diploma or equivalent.

1–2 years of prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.

Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special‑occasion production.

Experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.
