Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions will manage travel processes for undergraduate recruitment, oversee campus tours, and support admissions operations. The position involves coordinating travel events, supervising staff, analyzing recruitment data, and serving on leadership teams.

Responsibilities

Manage travel for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions including the annual recruitment calendar, processing event payments, and responding to over 500 travel requests.

Oversee the campus tour program: supervise the campus tour coordinator, coordinate student ambassador activities, and act as backup and interim director when needed.

Serve on the Undergraduate Admissions leadership team and chair the Eagle Preview (Open House) Committee for Fall/Spring programs.

Collect, analyze, and interpret recruitment data with the Associate Director to produce annual travel and campus tour reports and support long‑range planning.

Recruit students and manage applicant records within assigned geographic territories, including in‑state and out‑of‑state travel.

Provide ongoing support, training, and guidance to admissions staff and student ambassadors regarding travel processes, guidelines, and service‑learning programs.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of admissions and/or program coordination experience. Valid driver’s license.

Desired:

Experience in higher education student services, proficiency in MS Office, BANNER or similar student information systems, excellent verbal and written communication, strong organizational and time‑management skills, and ability to work independently and as a team member. Ability to travel frequently, work nights and weekends.
