The Director of Enterprise Alignment and Innovation, in partnership with the Commercial Technology team, will lead the governance, strategic alignment, and enterprise design framework for Salesforce across the Commercial Technology organization. This role ensures platform investments align with enterprise priorities, architectural standards, and transformation objectives.

Responsibilities and Impact Enterprise Governance and Strategic Alignment

Establish and operationalize an enterprise Salesforce governance model

Lead intake, prioritization, and value-based decision frameworks across towers

Partner with stakeholders to align roadmaps with enterprise strategy and define decision rights, escalation models, and cross-divisional collaboration standards

Innovation and Capability Road Mapping

Establish enterprise architectures and reusable design standards

Champion AI, automation, and data-driven innovation initiatives

Drive transparency across roadmap planning and release governance

Portfolio and Value Management

Implement KPI-driven portfolio oversight to measure ROI and business impact

Rationalize overlapping capabilities to enable reusability and leverage internal expertise

What We’re Looking For Basic Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience in software architecture and development

10+ years of progressive experience in a leadership role managing Salesforce platforms, with a preference for multi-org governance experience in organizations with 5,000+ end users or equivalent complexity

Expert-level proficiency across multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Revenue) and a strong understanding of declarative and programmatic development strategies, including package development methodologies and enterprise architecture principles

Demonstrated experience establishing and operationalizing enterprise governance frameworks, including intake, prioritization, decision-right models, and escalation standards across complex, matrixed organizations

Proven ability to develop and manage technology portfolio oversight, including KPI definition, ROI measurement, value realization tracking, and capability rationalization across multiple business divisions or product towers

Experience leading cross-functional stakeholder alignment, multi-year roadmap planning, and release governance across large enterprises, including presenting technology strategy and investment decisions to senior and C-suite leaders

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus at all levels of the organization

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to architect scalable, reusable solutions that meet both current and future business requirements

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Experience with strategic roadmap development, including multi-year planning, capability gap analysis, and business case development for enterprise platform investments

Hands-on experience championing AI, automation, and data-driven innovation initiatives within a Salesforce environment

Prior experience in a $5B+ revenue organization supporting commercial technology functions such as sales operations, customer success, or revenue operations

Experience rationalizing overlapping platform capabilities and driving consolidation or reusability strategies across multiple Salesforce instances or business units

Compensation and Benefits Information This section is only applicable to US candidates.

Anticipated base salary range: $140,000 to $195,000. Final base salary will be based on geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
