Working with a team of process hazard analysis engineers, you will be required to lead or support various projects, activities and initiatives aimed at identifying, mitigating and managing risk at this site. In this role you can expect to work directly with engineers and experts from Fab, Facilities and Safety teams as well as vendors, suppliers and consultants to achieve a world class process safety environment.## Responsibilities:* Lead and support core Risk-based PSM elements including Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Management of Change (MOC), and Incident Investigation.* Conduct detailed design reviews for new fabrication tools, systems, and chemical processes to ensure safety compliance and reliable performance.* Evaluate changes to equipment, procedures, or processes for safety impacts and recommend mitigation strategies.* Facilitate hazard identification and risk analysis using methodologies such as HAZOP, FMEA, and What-If analysis.* Support technology transfers by preparing Safety Release Documents (SRDs), flammability studies, and hazard analyses.* Track and report critical metrics to assess PSM program performance and drive closure of findings from reviews and investigations.* Maintain process safety documentation including vendor bulletins, install packages, and compliance records.* Promote a culture of safety through proactive engagement, training, and participation in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.**Education Required:*** Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent experience.**Experience Required:*** 5+ years of experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.* Experience in Taiwan Class A and Class C hazardous workplace permits review.* Proficiency in interpreting P&IDs, schematics, and user documentation for design reviews and hazard analysis.* Familiarity with RBPS, Taiwan OSHA safety standards and semiconductor-specific safety standards.* Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to lead multi-functional safety initiatives and risk assessments.* Deep understanding of chemical hazards in semiconductor manufacturing and mitigation strategies.* Hands-on experience with PSM methodologies including PHA, MOC, and incident investigation.* Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and collaborators.* Excellent communication and training skills.* Fluency in Mandarin and proficiency in English.**Qualifications/Certifications Required:*** Certification in Process Safety Assessment.* Experience managing process safety management system and driving continuous improvement through audits and metrics is preferred.**About Micron Technology, Inc.**We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life *for all*.
