Position Overview
The Marketing Operations & EventsSpecialist is responsible for executing marketing initiatives and live events in the New Orleans market while serving as the primary on-the-ground representative of the marketing team. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage event logistics, coordinate cross‑functional communication, and represent the brand with professionalism and consistency. The ideal candidate is operationally strong, proactive, and an effective communicator who can work independently while maintaining strong alignment with the Baton Rouge marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Market Responsibilities (NewOrleans)
Serve as the primary marketing contact in New Orleans
Plan and execute marketing events and sponsorship activations
Oversee event setup, vendor coordination, staffing, and breakdown
Manage on‑site logistics and troubleshoot issues in real time
Complete detailed post‑event recap summaries
Prepare and submit weekly activity summaries and updates to the Marketing Manager
Marketing Operations & Coordination
Assist with marketing material coordination and distribution
Support campaign rollouts and local activation efforts
Maintain clear, structured communication with the Baton Rouge marketing team
Coordinate closely with social media and communications team members
Support local relationship building and community outreach initiatives
Assist with additional markets as required based on demand
Supporting marketing initiatives based on seasonal priorities and team needs
Prepare weekly LSA and PPC reports
Manage inventory and ordering promotional items
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
2–4 years of experience in marketing, events, operations, or coordination roles
Experience with HubSpot, Microsoft Tools, Digital Advertising Dashboards (LSA, PPC, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager) preferred
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Detail‑oriented with strong follow‑through and accountability
Comfortable working independently while staying closely aligned with leadership
Must be located in or willing to relocate to New Orleans
