Job Description Director of Nursing Surgical Services Benton, AR

Base Salary Range - $100,000 - $150,000

per year plus benefits

Schedule: 6:30AM – 4:00PM

More about our team We provide a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical services. We offer Bariatrics, Colon & Rectal Surgery, Endoscopy, General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology (ENT), Podiatry, and Urology. Our Surgical Services operates six main OR suites supporting both inpatient and outpatient procedures with efficiency and safety. Across all services areas, approximately 80 full-time equivalents (FTEs) deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

How you'll contribute As a

Director of Nursing

who excels in this role: Provides leadership and operational oversight for Main OR, Outpatient Surgery, PACU, Pre-Op, Post-Op, and Endoscopy Monitors key performance metrics, including case volume, turnover time, block utilization, and on-time starts. Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization. Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives. Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits. Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth. Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols. Perform other duties as assigned. Regular and reliable attendance.

What we're looking for Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices. Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, and ensure quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff. BLS Required ACLS & PALS Preferred PACU, PRE-OP, and ENDO Experience Preferred Minimum 5 years of Surgical Director Experience Preferred
