
Investment Fund Tax Senior Associate

Role:
Serve as a trusted tax advisor responsible for the review and oversight of fund tax workpapers, partner allocations, and partnership filings, including Forms 1065 and Schedule K-1, as well as related corporate and informational returns.
Provide technical analysis of financial data to support fund-level tax estimates and partner tax projections, ensuring accuracy and alignment with applicable tax regulations.
Advise on and oversee international tax compliance matters, including PFIC and CFC reporting (Forms 8621 and 5471), and interpret related regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and review flow-through tax information from underlying investments, including the calculation and maintenance of partner and investment tax basis.
Guide entity structuring and formation considerations, while ensuring compliance with FATCA/CRS requirements and proper tax documentation for withholding and reporting obligations.
Collaborate closely with accounting teams to advise on partner tax estimates and quarterly tax payments, and represent the tax function in responding to IRS and state tax authority inquiries.
Identify opportunities to enhance tax processes, implement automation solutions, and provide technical research and guidance on complex or evolving tax matters.
Qualifications:
4 - 8 years of Tax within the Private sector / Big 4
Strong academic record, Masters in tax preferred
Certified Public Accounting (CPA) designation preferred
