Senior Account Executive OR Account Supervisor, Consumer Tech & Lifestyle Small Girls PR is seeking a Senior Account Executive or Account Supervisor (depending on experience) who has developed strong media relationships and has a track record of success securing meaningful placements. This role will support higher-level client communications for projects, lead call and meeting efforts for the team and participate in strategy discussions both behind-the-scenes and with clients in the consumer lifestyle space. We’re looking for a generalist who has worked across a wide range of industries or someone who is eager to work across new client categories.

There is no one-size-fits-all for an SGPR client which means your career will be further enriched with meaningful and diversified experience. We've handled mergers for GE, announced Esusu as one of the first Black-owned tech unicorns, launched paranormal investigations with Ring doorbells, created a closet calculator to see how recycled clothing impacts the environment with thredUP, and hired the Green M&M as Zappos’ newest “shoefluencer” when the spokescandy was put on hiatus due to her boots controversy.

Note:

This role can be based in either our NYC or LA office, working two days a week in the office on a hybrid schedule.

How you’ll make an impact

Work along-side client leads to contribute ideas towards viral campaign moments, and then bring them to life

Craft creative pitch angles that position clients uniquely from their competitor set and yield 20-100 placements per campaign idea

Write pitches, fact sheets, media briefs, press releases and more with ease to provide media everything they need to garner killer coverage

Establish and maintain warm relationships with consumer media across print, digital, podcasts, subtacks, and broadcast outlets, leading to regular placements as well as feature stories

Help us develop strategies and relationships to earn placements in social media channels, like Hypebeast’s TikTok

Mentor our strong and capable junior team, helping them flourish into future leaders

Manage up to senior leaders, sharing recommendations for areas of growth for team members or clients they work with to support the overall growth of the team and larger business

Qualifications

You have a minimum of 3-5+ years of relevant experience (agency experience or fast-paced startup background preferred) ideally a true generalist that leans in the lifestyle and consumer tech spaces.

You’re intellectually curious and a natural storyteller

You’ve already secured top-tier press placements and have the clips to prove it

You’re a skilled writer, who crafts pitches and copy with clarity and cleverness

You love forging relationships with media, colleagues and clients

You’re comfortable leading client calls and providing a first pass at providing strategic counsel

You’re a creative thinker who isn’t afraid to take a risk or push the envelope

Your passion for error‑free work; you double‑check every detail and spot a typo a mile away
