Collections Specialist , you will play an important role in resolving outstanding account balances, documenting account activity, and delivering a positive customer experience while following established compliance standards. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys customer interaction, problem‑solving, and working in a structured, team‑focused environment.
Your role in our mission
Manage inbound and outbound account communications to resolve outstanding balances and support timely account resolution.
Document customer interactions, payment arrangements, and account updates accurately in client systems.
Review loan and account details to confirm accuracy, authorization, and compliance with client guidelines.
Use approved tools and systems to process updates, support payment activity, and maintain complete account records.
Provide professional, respectful service while balancing quality, productivity, and compliance expectations.
What we're looking for
At least
2 years of experience in collections, credit, account resolution, or related financial operations .
Familiarity with the
Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
and other related compliance standards.
Experience handling
inbound and outbound calls , preferably in a high‑volume or automated dialing environment.
Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills with the ability to manage sensitive conversations professionally.
Proficiency with
Microsoft Office
and the ability to learn and navigate business systems quickly and accurately.

100% onsite
role located at
313 Blettner Blvd., Madison, WI 53784 .
Full‑time schedule,
Monday through Friday , during standard Central Time business hours.
