Job Description The AbbVie Ad Agency Group Account Supervisor is a key cross‑functional member of the franchise facing team responsible for leading the development of US and Global Healthcare Professional and Consumer marketing campaigns and tactics,with an emphasis onengagement (strategic and operations) fordigital initiatives including website, email, banner ads and emerging marketing tools.This role has responsibility for defining theobjectives,strategiesand long-range plans for creating engagingdigital and traditionalprograms that deliver brand messages to their target audiences.This role provides leadership on the account team, working closely with digital team members and their leaders to guide account supervisors and project managers, and holds indirectfinancial responsibilityfor campaign and project budgets.Role reports to the AssociateDirectorAccount Group.

As a member of theTherapeutics Analytics & Operations (TA&O)organization supporting our brand franchises, the Group Account Supervisor is the subject matter expert, evangelist and marketing point of contact for assigned AbbVie brands and is responsible for leading and partnering with multiple internal brand teams, cross functional team members and external agency partners to align on campaign scope and deliverables.This includes workingclosely with digital, technology, and creative teams toideate,scope, plan, projectmanage,andexecute digital initiatives.This role manages the strategic and tactical execution of campaigns throughout their lifecycle, with emphasis on account planning, digital project management, and business growth across brand and digital channels. Responsibilities include developing andmaintainingbrand team relationships, analyzing market dynamics and competitor moves,identifyingopportunities for improvement, and overseeing annual forecasting and monthly spend reconciliation.

This role is also accountable for bringingexpertiseand leadership support to advance the AbbVie Ad Agency’s continually growing US and Globaldigitalfootprintincludingwebsite development, email campaigns, digital banner ads,andimplementationof AI tools to drivevalue with our marketing partners.

This is a hybrid position and requires the ability to commute to our Mettawa, IL office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Marketing Directors and other key stakeholders to build, manage, and execute marketing communication plans, with specific attention to digital tactics,to achieve businessobjectivesand goals.

Lead the definition, scoping, and implementationof marketing strategies,objectives, messaging and tacticsincludingdigital initiativessuch as websites, email, display/banner ads,SEO/SEMmetricsandutilizationof emerging technologyplatforms.

Manage the tacticaldevelopmentbusiness processes anddigital marketing inputs from inceptionto delivery, growth, and eventual retirement.

Work closely with brand marketing, agency partners,digital, and technical teams,and other cross functional team members to ensure that value propositions, messaging and marketing activities align to the brand storyacrossdigitaland traditional channels.

Collaborate effectively in a matrixed environment with Brand Marketing, Market Research, Analytics, Business Technology Solutions (BTS), Medical/Regulatory/Legal, External Agencies and other integrated business partners.

Maintain an "expert level" understanding of the Agency Workflow Process includingdigitalprojectworkflows such as website launches, email deployment, and bannerproduction.

Leads scoping and project management of digital initiatives, estimating timeline,resourcesand digitalrequirement.

Demonstrate creative thinking and problem-solving skills by addressing challenges with compliant solutions, while fostering teamwork and a unified purpose to drive initiatives forward.

Strong project management abilities and critical work tool experience, including Microsoft Office Suite, Veeva andKantata.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing.

7+ years of ad agency account leadership experience.

Pharmaceutical industry experiencerequiredwithdemonstratedsuccess in leading digitalinitiatives.

Peopleleadership experience, including managing cross‑functional teams and/or external partners through large projects or initiatives.

A strategic mindset that can balance immediate requirements with a long‑term vision.

Demonstrated progressively increasing responsibility in leading large, complex marketing campaigns

Proventrack recordof managing successful pharmaceutical product launches.

Outstanding communicator and comfortable interacting with a diverse group of marketing and creative individuals.

Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to beeffective managing through a highly matrixed organization.

Additional Information

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short‑term incentive programs.
