
Named Account Manager - SLED

Job Summary
The Named Account Manager – SLED is a significant driver of company revenue and growth. You are responsible for leading and driving sales engagements, solving critical challenges for customers, and connecting them with solutions at every stage of threat prevention.
Your responsibilities include meeting and exceeding your quota by implementing strategic territory plans for the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Security Platform, winning business and market share, and actively displacing competing technologies.
Responsibilities
Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles and work with internal partners to best serve the customer.
Initiate long‑standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors.
Create and implement strategic account plans focused on enterprise‑wide deployments.
Position Palo Alto Networks relative to the competitive landscape and customer needs.
Engage a programmatic approach to demand generation and territory expansion.
Leverage prospect stories to create a compelling value proposition specific to each account.
Stay current on industry news and trends affecting products and services.
Travel as necessary within your territory and for company‑wide meetings.
Qualifications
Experience with SaaS‑based architectures, especially in networking or security.
Skill in cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with channel partners for a channel‑centric go‑to‑market approach.
Ability to manage the entire sales cycle, from uncovering and qualifying to developing and closing new white‑space territories and accounts.
Successful track record selling complex solutions.
Excellent time‑management skills; self‑directed and autonomous.
Highly competitive, ramp quickly, adapt to change, and exceed production goals.
Compensation Compensation includes a base salary (or base salary plus commission target for sales), annual range as listed. May include restricted stock units and a bonus.

Location This remote role is open to candidates based in Oklahoma or Arkansas.
