We are seeking a top 5% performer, a high-energy, highly motivated Capital Formation Associate to join our growing Investments team. This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who is hungry to learn, ready to contribute, and excited by the challenge of raising capital in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. You'll be focused on private equity real estate investments, primarily large-scale multifamily acquisitions. Backed by a strong track record of executing major transactions, we are expanding aggressively and looking for a driven professional to support direct LP fundraising efforts targeting high-net-worth individuals (HNWs), ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), and family offices. As a Capital Formation Associate, you'll work closely with senior capital markets leaders, playing a key role in sourcing, engaging, and managing relationships with high-net-worth investors, family offices, and their advisors. Our acquisitions typically require $10M to $30M in direct LP equity per transaction. You won't be expected to close capital single-handedly, but you will be expected to roll up your sleeves, pick up the phone, and actively drive the fundraising process forward. You'll be working alongside experienced teammates raising non-controlling LP capital across multiple live transactions, with plans to deploy billions more when opportunities are accretive. This is a high-growth, high-visibility role with meaningful upside tied directly to performance. Capital stacks will typically include agency debt, preferred equity, and passive LP equity. The Capital Formation Associate will lead efforts to cultivate, expand, and deepen relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, single-family offices, and select wealth advisors who directly oversee large-scale private capital allocations. This role does not involve raising JV LP capital from private equity groups or large institutional investors. Instead, you're building lasting relationships and closing real estate equity rounds with accredited investors or qualified individuals who allocate their own capital without requiring control. It is designed for a strategic, high-caliber professional with a proven ability to cultivate deep investor relationships, structure compelling investment opportunities, and secure capital commitments from high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and other investors deploying their own funds. Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to raise direct LP capital from high-net-worth individuals (HNWs), ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), and family offices Source and connect with prospective investors via outbound calls, emails, and events Assist in preparing compelling pitch materials, investor decks, and data room content Track pipeline activity, investor feedback, and relationship progress in CRM Communicate the firm's investment thesis, track record, and current opportunities with clarity and conviction, tailored to the sophisticated needs of target investors Support the end-to-end capital raising process; from initial outreach and relationship building to supporting due diligence and closing Partner closely with senior leaders to develop tailored investor strategies and ensure follow-through Cultivate and maintain deep, trusted relationships with UHNW investors, serving as a strategic advisor on real estate investment opportunities Collaborate closely with internal teams, including acquisitions, asset management, and finance, to provide investors with accurate and timely information Represent the firm at exclusive investor events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the investor network Ideal Candidate Profile: 13 years of experience in capital raising, investment banking, sales, private equity, or real estate investment management Proven ability or strong interest in sourcing and managing direct LP capital from high-net-worth individuals (HNW), ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), and family offices (preferred) Strong investment acumen with a grasp of capital structuring, market trends, and investment strategies; able to communicate complex opportunities to sophisticated investors (preferred) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Confident and comfortable making outbound calls and engaging in investor conversations Highly coachable with a strong desire to learn from senior leaders Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple relationships and tasks simultaneously Demonstrated grit, hustle, and resilience in pursuing ambitious goals Deep alignment with Rex's mission, values, and long-term vision Compensation & Benefits: Base Salary:
