The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Conference & Events Specialist III/IV to join our Corporate Strategic Events team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the execution of successful events from concept to completion. You will manage several projects simultaneously with an attention to detail to deliver and create engaging experiences. The selected candidate will be required to work full-time on-site at our facility in Colorado Springs, CO. Occasional work outside normal hours may be required for events or activities (as needed). What You'll Be Doing Work collaboratively, as well as independently, to project manage, develop, produce, and execute a variety of corporate events, logistics, planning, and administrative needs. These will include workshops, conferences, and employee functions Manage variety of event formats (in person, onsite, virtual, hybrid) coordinating logistics of event setup, livestream production, event technical management, and physical venue arrangements Create, plan, and execute detailed project plans including event timeline schedules, venue selection and contracts, food & beverage logistics, attendee management, and post-survey engagement results Collaborate with various internal and external teams to maximize event visibility and success What You Need to be Successful Minimum Requirements for the Conference & Events Specialist III: High school diploma or equivalent is required A minimum of (3) years of relevant events-management experience is required Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and fostering positive client relationships Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with meticulous attention to detail and organizational excellence Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of building collaborative partnerships across internal teams and external stakeholders Flexibility to travel to company locations in El Segundo, CA; Crystal City, VA; and Chantilly, VA (as business needs require) This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI/SAP security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance In addition to the above, the minimum requirements for the Conference & Events Specialist IV include: A minimum of (6) years of relevant events-management experience is required Ways We Reward Our Employees We offer a competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business.
