Job Summary
Mgr, Strategic Sales is responsible for achieving growth and profit objectives within assigned Strategic Accounts. The Mgr, Strategic Sales leads the Strategic Plan for client wiring, growth opportunities and overall retention efforts. The Mgr, Strategic Sales serves in the lead role for all client communication at an enterprise level for assigned clients and fully leverages our relationships to benefit the client and BrightView.
Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with business leaders on strategic sales plans for each market for short and long-term growth
Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that affect current and future growth of territory sales and profitability
Develop and coordinate new strategic customer sales and relationships within the Strategic Account for new leads
Navigate their respective Strategic Account at senior levels to create large scale opportunities with organizations that operate multiple facilities across large geographic areas
Drive sales process leadership from initial contact through strategy, proposal, presentation & successful conclusion for developing and expanding business opportunities
Take active role in representing the business unit in the marketplace and various industry organizations and events
Ensure new customer accounts are transitioned to branch teams
Investigate and resolve queries and issues raised by customer at National Level
Accountable to lead the contract negotiating process with multifaceted constituents and business unit leaders
Arrange meetings with all relevant decision makers within the customer
Develop and present business reviews with assigned Strategic Accounts
Manage all phases of the sales pipeline simultaneously with multiple deals developing at different stages
Gather and maintain record of customer/vertical market/industry information and insights
Analyze market data and develop annual revenue and market penetration goals
Provide timely, accurate and concise information to senior executive management
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required
3-5 years of national account management experience or other related experience
Advanced executive leadership characteristics and comfort when communicating with Managers, Directors and other customer and internal leaders
Proficiency in administering sales information and communication using CRM
Experience with Miller Heiman Strategic Selling/LAMP or equivalent major pursuit programs and processes
Experience with SalesForce or equivalent CRM
Highly motivated self-starter, comfortable with change and ambiguity, acts as a change agent
Demonstration of critical thinking and problem solving
Ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently with strong attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building capability that produce understanding and influencing of customers and internal teams
Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel proficiency
Physical Demands/Requirements
Constant operation of a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, a cell phone, and printers/copiers
Position is sedentary; must be able to remain in a stationary position for a majority of time
Operates in an office environment and requires in-person presence
Ability to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occur
This position will require some travel (25%-50%)

Work is conducted in a professional office environment, with a collaborative and dynamic team setting and requires in-person presence
