Financial Aid Specialist II
Job Type: Hourly Staff- Full-Time | Pay: $19.00 per hour | Department: Financial Aid | Bargaining Unit: FOCUS-MFPE
The Financial Aid office seeks a team member with an analytical mind and attention to detail. You will help manage student employment and communicate financial aid information with faculty, staff, and students. This role is integral to the campus and provides an opportunity to learn all facets of financial aid.
Responsibilities
Manage Federal and State Work Study Programs and student employment.
Provide support to the Director, other financial aid personnel, and Enrollment Services for student and parent campus visits related to financial aid.
Required Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Customer service experience.
Ability to complete detail-oriented tasks with high accuracy.
Exemplary interpersonal communication skills – written and oral.
Eligibility for access to federal aid databases (cannot be in default).
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree.
Related work experience in an educational or financial setting.
Experience with financial aid policies and procedures.
Experience with Banner or other FAMs system.
