Sales Manager (Building Products & Equipment)
Salary:
$80,000 base + commission
Location:
Fully remote – must reside in ND, SD, MN, WI, or IA

Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Territory Managers to achieve both individual and team sales targets.
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and monitor competitor activities.
Oversee the development and implementation of product pricing strategies and programs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Manage an assigned territory and fulfill the function of a Territory Manager as needed.
Develop and execute effective sales strategies and plans to drive market share growth and meet business objectives.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of external building supplies and roll-forming equipment to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers.
Manage the sales budget, track sales performance, and regularly report on key metrics to senior management.
Collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Represent the company at national and regional trade shows and other industry events.
Attend meetings and provide updates to senior management on sales activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field required.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience.
Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to inspire and manage a sales team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence presenting and influencing at all levels of an organization.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, direct, and coordinate sales activities and projects.
Proven track record in building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other related sales tools.
Valid driver’s license, insurability, and the ability to travel as required.
