In this role, you will lead critical functions concerning external reporting and technical accounting in an organization that is experiencing rapid growth and increasing complexity. Your work will have a substantial impact on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, while collaborating with multiple departments to support strategic business objectives. This player/coach position will demand leadership capabilities as well as a hands‑on approach to navigate the intricacies of complex accounting situations. You will play a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance and supporting business initiatives across the organization.
Accountabilities
Own and lead the preparation and filing of all SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, etc.)
Drive the review and continuous improvement of disclosures for accuracy and compliance
Lead technical accounting analysis in areas such as equity and stock‑based compensation
Partner cross‑functionally with Legal, Tax, and other teams on disclosures and emerging issues
Maintain a robust SOX control environment related to financial reporting
Advise leadership on accounting implications of strategic initiatives
Build and mentor a high‑performing team while remaining hands‑on
Identify and drive process improvements across reporting workflows
Requirements
12+ years of progressive accounting experience, particularly in SEC reporting
Deep knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
Strong SOX compliance experience
Ability to balance hands‑on execution with team leadership
Experience with complex accounting issues and cross‑functional collaboration
