The Pulse Correspondent

The Pulse powered by Sullivan Supply is seeking a driven, creative, and organized individual to serve as our Texas Pulse Correspondent. This role is perfect for someone passionate about the livestock industry who enjoys storytelling, social media, and being on the road. As a Pulse Correspondent, you’ll be responsible for capturing and sharing the stories of exhibitors, events, and the people who make the industry great across the state of Texas. This is an as-needed, event-based position with compensation provided per show. Hours and workload will vary depending on the event schedule. This role is not considered full-time or part-time employment. Key Responsibilities: Create and submit engaging content for the Pulse platform, including event coverage, exhibitor highlights, and behind-the-scenes features Attend livestock shows across Texas Capture high-quality photos and videos for social media and digital use Conduct interviews with exhibitors, families, and industry leaders Assist in promoting Sullivan Supply products and presence at events Maintain consistent communication with the Pulse Manager regarding submissions and deadlines Qualifications: Strong interest or background in the livestock/show industry Excellent communication and writing skills Experience with photography, videography, and social media platforms Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while traveling Organized and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills: Experience in content creation or marketing Familiarity with the Sullivan Supply brand and products Basic editing skills (photo/video) What You’ll Gain: Hands-on experience in agricultural communications and media Opportunities to network within the livestock industry Paid Travel opportunities across Texas A chance to represent a brand that Trusted by Champions Shows to be covered (including but not limited to): Fort Worth Stock Show Houston Livestock Show Rodeo Austin Texas Youth Expo State Fair of Texas How to Apply: Please submit your resume and 2–3 examples of content (writing, photo, & video) to Rachel Davis, Pulse Manager at Rachel.davis@sullivansupply.com .
