We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator who will be handling a wide range of social media projects, is very proactive in initiating and responding to posts and comments and is able to work independently with little to no supervision. Well organized, flexible and enjoy the deadline‑driven challenges of working at an ad agency. Previous advertising, marketing, media, or entertainment work environment experience preferred. Work samples featuring your content creation and copywriting experience are highly encouraged.
Job Responsibilities Manage approval process and scheduling of daily social media content calendars
Own daily maintenance of multiple social media accounts including responding to comments, resharing posts, sourcing user-generated content, updating bios, and monitoring audience sentiment
Attend events and shoots to capture creative and engaging video and photo content for use on social media
Assist Social Media Manager(s) and Director of Content with creation and project management of social media assets
Assist Social Media Manager(s) and Director of Content with weekly social media analytics and reporting
Edit photos, videos and graphics for social media purposes
Coordinate between internal departments including Partnerships, Digital Media, Broadcast and Production Studio to execute social media campaigns
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy and recommend them when strategically appropriate
Job Requirements 0-2 years of digital/social media marketing experience, ideally in the entertainment industry
In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed to meet marketing objectives
Independent, motivated, creative and detail oriented. Ability to quickly shift priorities
Solid technical understanding and strong computer skills (including MS Office and Mac OS X), and the ability to pick up new tools quickly
Experienced with social media scheduling and analytical tools such as Sprout Social, Falcon, HeyOrca
Experience overseeing assignments through project management programs such as Asana and Monday.com
Ability to identify potential negative situations or crises and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when needed
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
Must be able to problem-solve in a timely manner
Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Advertising, Marketing or relevant field preferred
Experience with video editing and graphic design using programs like Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial.
Experience creating and managing social accounts for brands is a plus.
Compensation $47,500 - $50,000 USD
