Role Summary Job Title: Social Media Coordinator Reporting to: Marketing Manager Hours: Part Time — 16 hours per week Salary: £12,500 — £16,500 (DOE) Location: Hybrid Application Deadline: Ongoing The Role The Social Media Coordinator supports day-to-day social media publishing, engagement and performance monitoring across Islam21c platforms. This role supports the delivery of clear, professional and responsible public communications, ensuring messaging reflects Islam21c’s professionalism, values and service standards. Key Responsibilities Social Media Publishing Manage social media posting schedules across platforms Publish campaign and service communications in line with organisational messaging Support formatting and optimisation of content for different platforms Caption Writing and Content Support Write captions aligned to Islam21c tone and public communication standards Support content preparation and optimisation Support coordination of social content with marketing and design activity Engagement and Monitoring Monitor comments, messages and engagement across platforms Respond to basic enquiries and elevate sensitive or case-related queries appropriately Support maintaining a professional and responsible online presence Performance Tracking Track engagement, reach and performance metrics Support preparation of performance summaries and insights Skills & Experience Essential Strong written communication skills Strong understanding of social media platforms Strong organisational ability and attention to detail Desirable Experience managing or supporting social media accounts Experience using scheduling tools or basic analytics platforms Basic design or content editing experience Personal Attributes Professional and responsible communicator Organised and reliable Detail focused Calm and measured in public communications Strong alignment with organisational values Other Requirements Ability to work in a hybrid role with some office and campaign-period attendance Right to work in the UK How To Apply Please submit: CV Cover Letter (max 1 page) outlining: Why you are interested in Islam21c and this role Your most relevant experience for this role An example of a role or situation where you handled professional, structured or sensitive work Shortlisted candidates may be invited to: Initial interview Practical task (role-specific scenario or documentation exercise) Final values and professionalism conversation #J-18808-Ljbffr
