Salary: $20.25/Hour Minimum Requirements: Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma, plus EITHER: (A) Graduation with an Associate's degree or successful completion of at least sixty (60) credit hours from a college or university; OR, (B) Two (2) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent office clerical or secretarial experience*; OR, (C) An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above. *Experience as a Teller, Cashier or Sales Clerk will not be considered appropriate experience for the purposes of these minimum qualifications. NOTE: Your degree must have been awarded by a college or university accredited by a regional, national, or specialized agency recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education/U.S Secretary of Education. If your degree was awarded by an educational institution outside the United States and its territories, you must provide independent verification of equivalency. Special Requirement: If you are appointed, you will be required to possess a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State or otherwise demonstrate your capacity to meet the transportation needs of the position. Desired Qualifications: Good organizational skills; Strong knowledge of office operations; Excellent computer skills; Strong administrative and communication skills; The ability to assist and to help create a warm welcoming environment. Position Summary/Responsibilities: Working with students in a positive manner; Working with teachers and coaches with professionalism and confidentiality; Working with ALL school personnel daily as assigned; Excellent communication skills; Familiarity with the rules and guidelines of various sports or desire to learn; Understanding of items that take priority over others; Stipend Management; Transportation Management; Human Resources Hiring Practice execution; Interview Committee Preparation; Assist with Purchase Order and Budget Management; Creating and maintaining a warm and welcoming environment in our office daily; Phone Call and Email Message Management; Facility Scheduling; Summer Time Camp Management; All other duties as assigned.
