Description The Digital Commerce Marketing Specialist (DCMS) will work on various marketing initiatives with specific ownership of social media channel communications for "the Hawaii Store" brand and the development and optimization of digital music syndication channels for all PCC music assets. Responsibilities include creating, implementing, and overseeing social strategies to improve awareness, engagement and social visibility of "The Hawaii Store" brand on relevant social media platforms. Additionally, the DCMS will be accountable for tracking and analyzing social KPIs, social content production, and the discovery and evaluation of social tools and platforms. Accountable for strategy and related tactics for achieving our music syndication/distribution and monetization goals. He/she is also expected to participate in all day-to-day activities to execute social communication strategies and optimize music distribution channels. Essential Functions : Develop and implement social media channel strategies to improve impressions and awareness of the Polynesian Cultural Center, the Hawaii Store, and Hukilau Marketplace brands ultimately contributing to achieving its revenue and online visibility objectives. Provide leadership to assigned employees to assist with the creating and managing of social media communities by responding to posts and developing engaging discussions. Collaborate with the content creation team to create engaging multimedia social campaigns for the Polynesian Cultural Center, the Hawaii Store, and the Hukilau Marketplace brands social channels. Monitor social engagement metrics for insights and ideas to guide the design and creation of campaign assets. Requirements Well-rounded knowledge of Polynesian Cultural Center. Bachelor's degree in Business, Digital Commerce, Integrated Marketing or related field. Excellent knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and TikTok. Working knowledge of digital music distribution technologies and platform. Effective communications skills to communicate with all levels of management and with multiple departments, as well as being able to fully comprehend their desires and concerns. Able to multi-task and project manage various projects at the same time. Thrive in a fast pace environment and work effectively by multi-tasking. Self-motivated learner and able to work unsupervised. Effective communicator having copy writing and story-telling experience. Working understanding of digital recording technologies. Aware of search algorithms and search engine optimization. Be able to lead, motivate and mentor students and interns. Detailed-oriented with effective project and campaign management skills. Work Schedule: To Be Determined (19 Hours per week) All applicants must be available for an on-site interview at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, HI.
