Director of Procurement – Lititz, PA The Opportunity Our client is a local electronics manufacturer supplying the defense industry. They have hired us to seek out a Director of Procurement for their Lititz, PA location. This position is responsible for leading the Materials and Procurement functions and maintaining an effective, cost-competitive supply chain, accurate inventory, and plan for the procurement of goods and services to support the organization. The ideal candidate will have: Setting and facilitating the overall procurement strategy Ensuring high quality, accurate and competitive sourcing of materials Setting measurable objectives to ensure timely delivery of products with quality materials. Overseeing complex material bidding processes Leading departmental improvement via process initiatives and effective metric management. Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Preferred certifications: NAPM (A.P.P. C.P.M), APICS (CPIM, CIRM), or PMI (PMP). 7+ years of purchasing, inventory, and planning management. Government contracting familiarity desired. Eligible for government security clearance.
