Customer Service Representative
Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Customer Service Representative to join our team. The role involves servicing walk‑in customers, answering inquiries, providing samples, and completing sales transactions.
Primary Objective Ensure effective and efficient coordination between the Company and its customers with a high level of service and support.
Primary Function And Scope
Provides customer account management including order entry, order inquiry, product information, order status, pricing, stock check, and transportation management.
Key in orders, process faxes, and prepare reports.
Interface with internal teams and SSCs to address customer inquiries and order issues from order entry to delivery.
Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.
Experience And Knowledge Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
3+ years call center or customer service experience.
Preferred focus on customer account management.
Competencies Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels. Good voice quality that is conversational and professional. Ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions, policies, guidelines, and processing standards. Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills. Strong interpersonal relationship‑building skills. Moderate computer skills in Word and Excel. Detail‑oriented, able to multitask, manage priorities, and manage time effectively. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Other Pertinent Job Information Regularly required to stand, use hands, reach, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May sit, climb, balance, talk, or hear. Ability to lift 15–30 lbs regularly, and up to 70 lbs at times. Materials longer than 36 inches or heavier than 70 lbs require a team lift.
