Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Customer Service Representative to join our team. The role involves providing walk‑in customer service, answering inquiries, presenting samples, and completing sales transactions.
Primary Objective To ensure effective and efficient coordination between the Company and its customers with a high level of service and support.
Primary Function and Scope
Provides customer account management, including order entry, order inquiry, product information, order status, pricing, stock checks, and transportation management.
Keys in orders, processes faxes, and prepares reports.
Interfaces with internal teams and shared service centers to address customer inquiries and order issues from entry to delivery.
Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
Experience and Knowledge Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
3+ years of call center or customer service experience.
Experience in customer account management preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels, maintain a conversational and professional tone, interpret and follow policies, demonstrate strong organizational and problem‑solving skills, build interpersonal relationships, and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Other Pertinent Job Information The employee will regularly stand, use hands, reach with hands and arms, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to lift up to 15–30 lbs routinely and, at times, up to 70 lbs. Lift tasks involving items longer than 36 inches or heavier than 70 lbs require a team lift. Vision requirements include close, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.
