Service Writer Powersports

The Edge Powersports, Utah's number one KTM, and Husqvarna dealer, is seeking a hard working individual to work in the fun and fast paced power sports industry. This person needs to be very detail oriented and needs to be able to multi task. As a service writer you will work hand in hand with the Service Manager and the service technicians on a daily basis. You will be responsible for greeting customers, and helping them get their machine checked in, or in helping them pick it up when it is ready. You will also work with customers to explain the repairs needed, and provide follow up on the work that is getting done. Pay will be based on experience, and benefits are available.

Responsibilities

Answer service phone calls in a professional manner and greet customers at the service counter

Assign jobs to mechanics and provide follow up to customers as their machine is getting repaired

Follow repair orders through the process from beginning to end

Work with mechanics on making sure they have everything necessary to complete their work and be a liaison between the mechanic and the customer

Qualifications

Must be detail oriented

Must have good phone skills

Must be organized

Be able to use a computer and understand technical diagrams of machines

Must have prior service writing or mechanic experience

Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure
