Job Description
As an Auto Body Painter at Leo Martin Chevrolet, you will be responsible for applying paint to vehicles, ensuring a high-quality finish. You will work with a variety of tools and materials to match colors and achieve seamless repairs.
Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces, such as metal, plastic, and fiberglass, for painting
Mix paints to match vehicle colors and specifications
Apply paint using spray guns, brushes, rollers, or other methods
Follow established procedures for paint application and drying times
Inspect finished paint jobs to ensure quality and accuracy
Make necessary repairs or touch-ups as needed
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Adhere to safety regulations and use protective equipment as required
Requirements
Previous experience as an Auto Body Painter or in a similar role preferred
Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment
Proficiency in color matching and mixing paints
Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality
Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
