Job Description :
We Are Seeking
a Cloud Specialist to support the design, implementation, and ongoing operations of enterprise cloud environments. This role is responsible for deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure, supporting cloud migration efforts, implementing automation solutions, and ensuring cloud systems meet security, compliance, and performance standards. The Cloud Specialist will work closely with infrastructure, development, and security teams to ensure cloud platforms remain scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational technology standards.
Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure and Operations • Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure within public cloud platforms. • Support cloud migration initiatives and integration with on-premises systems. • Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and reliability. • Troubleshoot infrastructure, connectivity, and system performance issues. • Maintain cloud system documentation and operational procedures. • Support hybrid cloud environments and enterprise cloud deployments.
Automation and Technical Implementation • Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions for cloud resource deployment. • Develop automation scripts to support system administration and operational efficiency. • Support configuration management and deployment validation activities. • Verify cloud resources and configurations after implementation. • Assist with database connectivity and cloud database services support.
Security, Compliance, and Collaboration • Implement cloud security configurations and access controls. • Support compliance with regulatory frameworks and security standards. • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and development teams. • Support IT service management processes including incident, change, and problem management. • Assist with backup, recovery, and data protection processes. • Follow cloud architecture best practices to ensure scalability and reliability.
Required Skills: •
5-6 years of experience supporting public cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. •
Experience deploying and supporting cloud infrastructure and services. •
Knowledge of core cloud components including compute, storage, networking, and identity management. •
Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash. •
Understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, routing, and firewalls. •
Knowledge of security fundamentals including access control and data protection. •
Experience troubleshooting cloud-based systems in enterprise environments. •
Experience managing Windows Server environments and Active Directory integration. •
Experience supporting Linux environments (such as RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu). •
Understanding of cloud database services such as Azure SQL or AWS RDS. •
Knowledge of cloud architecture best practices. •
Familiarity with IT service management processes.
Preferred Skills •
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation. •
Experience working in hybrid cloud environments. •
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks. •
Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and performance management tools. •
Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or similar hypervisors. •
Basic knowledge of storage systems, backup platforms, and data protection concepts. •
Experience supporting SQL Server or other relational databases. •
Knowledge of database backup and recovery concepts.
