Job Description
OSMG Cincinnati (aka On Shelf Marketing Group) is a Faith Based Full-Service Broker Specializing in Kroger and Best-In-Market National Representation. We are looking for an Administrative Assistant in the HBC/Grocery Food Industry. The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role.
This is NOT a REMOTE Position.
COMPANY ROLE: The individual in this position is accountable for the effective handling of administrative tasks, customer service, and sales departments along with providing professional representation through interacting with customers via the phone and in person through receptionist functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To treat all associates, customers, and suppliers with respect and appreciation.
To treat your word as your vow by always doing what you say you will do when you say you will do it.
To represent OSMG Marketing Group in an ethical and professional manner at all times.
To implement directions from management to perform administrative tasks, which include:
Assist Business Managers in all areas of administrative duties (i.e. contracts, new item forms, planning systems, price increases, etc.)
Maintain client data in company data base.
Assist customer service with orders and deductions when needed.
Professional and courteous answering of the operator phone
Process incoming and outgoing mail (when needed)
Coordinating conference room activities (i.e. scheduling, drinks, snacks, etc.)
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Exceptional organization and time management
Excellent documentation and follow through
Excellent oral and written communication
Excellent phone skills
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Knowledge of food broker industry (Kroger a plus) and administrative processes
Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Client Software systems
