As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels while supporting seasonal resets and installations when needed.
Salary and Schedule Details
Your starting hourly pay rate will be
$16.00‑$18.00
depending on your skills and experience.
Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom sessions.
Part‑time employees may receive voluntary benefits that include medical, dental, vision, etc.
Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule.
Average weekly hours are between
6‑8 hours per week .
Availability before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is
required .
Support for season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support may be required.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day engagement:
Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory inside and outside the Hallmark department. Technology is critical for communication, reporting, and completing required merchandising activities. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers.
Holiday support:
Work additional days and extended hours leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. On some holidays, work may be required, including the holiday itself and weekends.
Department resets:
Participate in a team responsible for installations and tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Assignments are typically notified two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends.
Team support:
As part of Hallmark’s field organization, support other team members as needed within your territories.
Physical Requirements This job is physically demanding and requires a high level of energy and urgency. Work is performed on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, requiring consistent pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying of cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds (and up to 50 pounds on occasion). Kneeling, squatting, walking, and standing are frequent, and climbing stairs or step ladders may be required.
Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Capability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Operate a digital handheld device to access documents and interpret information.
Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
Reliable transportation to travel to assigned stores as scheduled.
