Personal Responsibilities: Demonstrate a shepherd’s heart for people and model biblical priorities by being committed to spending regular time in God’s Word and prayer. Faithfully supporting the ministry by giving regularly. Demonstrate spiritual maturity and a growing relationship with Jesus. Display a balance of humility and drive to build God’s kingdom. Leadership Responsibilities: Prepare and coordinate worship gatherings and ensure the addition of new and relevant worship songs/elements in weekend services. Cast vision, monitor, and influence the musical direction of RLCC to reflect the church’s vision, values, and goals. Recruit and train band members and vocalists for weekend worship services. Ensure weekend worship services are effective in content, style, structure and design. Assist with planning special worship services (e.g., Christmas Eve, Easter, Family Sundays) and other programs as assigned. Oversee set design, video production, service timing, graphics, branding across worship, media, and building. Create and manage systems to work with team members to develop a series from idea to implementation. Recruit and empower volunteers for scheduled programs. Maintain a network of relevant professionals/vendors for current systems and technologies. Programming Responsibilities: Meet weekly with the Lead Pastor to discuss and critique prior weekend service and plan future weekend services with the goal of transcendent engagement. Facilitate brainstorming sessions to generate fresh ideas for service programming. Interface with communicators to ensure a consistent message in program details (music, video, offering, announcements, etc.). Participate in weekly service meetings to plan and coordinate music, video, and other program notes/assets. Develop systems to create detailed service plans at least two weeks prior to event dates, including musical, technical, video, and programming needs. Provide ongoing feedback with worship team to maintain a high standard of excellence and monitor the impact of service programming. Congregational Responsibilities: Assist with maintaining a high touch ministry; be known and know church attendees. Counsel as requested and refer to professionals for extensive counseling as needed. Provide leadership and input regarding development, management, and implementation of the annual RLCC budget for areas of responsibility. Participate in church-wide events and outreach events. Highly encouraged to participate in or lead a Community Group. Serve personally and plan tech team requirements for special services (funerals, weddings, etc.) as requested. Technical Responsibilities: Develop the people, philosophy, systems, and deadlines related to video, graphics, and technical elements of RLCC. Produce creative and effective graphics and in-service videos (concepts, scripting, shoots, editing, post-production). Strategize creative tactics to use video for promotion. Oversee audio, lighting, and video technology, including maintenance, programming, and purchasing. Experience with Planning Center administration; proficient with ProPresenter and Resi.io streaming software. Oversee equipment including Apple products, Blackmagic design gear, Canon cameras, Allen & Heath consoles, and stage lighting.
