Time Out Market Porter Responsibilities
Prepare dining areas before guests are seated Remove dirty plate ware and silverware from tables after guests have left Clean tables after guests leave Restock kitchen with plates, utensils, napkins and trays Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition. Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas. Operate equipment in an efficient and safe manner. Complete other general cleaning duties such as emptying trash cans and cleaning dining area Other duties as assigned by management Skills And Requirements
Work experience as a Busser, Food Runner or other entry‑level role in a restaurant and fast‑paced events environment a plus Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays, push heavy carts and stand for long hours Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast‑paced environment Ability to be cross‑trained in all areas of the cleaning department Ability to speak, read, and understand English What We Look For In a Candidate
