Job Title: Corporate Benefits Specialist
Location: St Petersburg Florida 33716
Duration: 3 months
Work Hours/Shift: Monday – Friday; 8:00AM to 5:00PM EST
Role Overview:
Provide comprehensive HR/Benefits administrative support with a strong focus on
401(k) and Financial Well-being programs , under the Benefits Administration & Operations Manager. Benefits Administration:
Manage day-to-day administration of employee benefits including
medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, Section 125 plans, COBRA/HIPAA, and retirement plans . Employee Support:
Act as a primary contact for employee benefit inquiries, ensuring timely issue resolution by coordinating with
payroll, legal teams, and external vendors . Operations Excellence:
Support workflow improvements, maintain plan documentation, and ensure compliance and accuracy in all benefits processes. Annual Enrollment:
Assist in planning and executing
open enrollment , including system readiness, communications, vendor coordination, and troubleshooting. Vendor Management:
Maintain and manage relationships with
benefits providers, brokers, and consultants , including participation in meetings and issue resolution. Data & Administration Tasks:
Handle
file transfers, reporting, enrollments, life event changes, beneficiary updates, leave cases, and QMSO processing . Financial & Audit Responsibilities:
Review, audit, and ensure timely payment of vendor invoices; leverage
accounting/bookkeeping knowledge
for financial accuracy. Compliance & Industry Knowledge:
Stay updated on benefits regulations and trends, ensuring compliance and recommending improvements to enhance employee experience. Qualifications & Skills: 5+ years in HR Benefits Administration Knowledge of
Health & Welfare and Section 125 plans Experience with
HRIS, Microsoft Office, Oracle, bswift (preferred) Strong analytical, organizational, and customer service skills Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
