Experience Body Shop Parts Advisor: Position Summary: The Body Shop Parts Advisor is responsible for sourcing, ordering, receiving, and managing all parts required for collision repairs. This role works closely with estimators, technicians, vendors, and insurance partners to ensure timely and accurate parts availability, supporting efficient cycle times and high-quality repairs. Key Responsibilities:
Review repair estimates and identify all required parts for each job Order parts accurately and promptly from approved vendors Verify pricing, availability, and delivery timelines to minimize repair delays Receive, inspect, and mirror match parts to repair orders upon arrival Manage returns, credits, and core parts efficiently and on a daily basis Maintain organized parts inventory and storage areas Communicate proactively with estimators and technicians regarding parts status Track and resolve parts delays, backorders, or discrepancies Ensure proper documentation for insurance compliance and supplements Assist in negotiating pricing and maintaining vendor relationships Monitor and minimize obsolescence Qualifications:
Previous automotive parts experience (collision center experience preferred) Strong knowledge of OEM and aftermarket parts sourcing Familiarity with estimating systems (CCC, Mitchell) Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Effective communication and teamwork skills Basic computer proficiency Current Driver's License.
