Senior Real Estate Servicing Specialist (Cash T&I Default Support)
The Senior RES Specialist (Cash T&I Default Support) is the primary point of contact for internal and external customers requiring support with real estate loan servicing functions. The role ensures accurate and timely handling of escalations, documentation requests and coordination with internal teams and external partners, while maintaining strong compliance and service standards. Core contributions include managing the Real Estate Oversight email inbox by responding promptly and accurately to escalated inquiries and documenting all actions in Member Connect and/or Cenlar Case Management. Contact members directly when appropriate. Resolve complex loan servicing issues using strong analytical skills, sound risk judgement and knowledge of regulatory and investor guidelines. Perform routine audits of subservice activities, including escrow disbursements, billing statements and suspense account activity and report findings and trends to the RE Oversight Team. Identify and recommend process improvements through root cause analysis and collaboration with internal partners to enhance efficiency and experience. Process daily branch payments, daily draw wires, Fixed Rate Loan Option (FRLO) requests and monitor the Escrow Refunds Payable GL to ensure timely clearing within 2 business days. Support additional tasks assigned by management to enhance team operations and adaptability. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments or individuals. Assets you will bring include a high school diploma or GED required, minimum of 3-5 years customer service experience in a banking or lending setting, notary license or willingness to obtain, and computer skills in Microsoft Office & Adobe. The estimated salary for this role is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.
