The Office of the Ohio Attorney General is currently seeking motivated and efficient individuals for an Account Clerk 2 position in the Collections Enforcement Section. The successful candidate will perform a variety of administrative, financial and accounting tasks. This position will work a hybrid remote/in-person schedule. There may be changes to the schedule based on training and operational needs. The position will be headquartered in any of our office around the State of Ohio: Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, or Boardman. The duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Determines accuracy and validity and prepares vouchers for invoices and the disbursement of funds (e.g. verifies mathematical accuracy). Processes client accounts payables and refunds. Processes account adjustments requested by the business. Analyzes and processes invoices and other related materials. Processes remittance for receipt and disbursement of funds and verifies accuracy. Performs variety of related clerical tasks (e.g. conducts correspondence relative to materials processed; maintains filing system; answers telephone inquiries).
