The Company is seeking a Managing Director of Public Markets to lead and oversee the investment and management of the public market asset class for the Trust Fund. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic investment leadership, multi-asset oversight, and portfolio construction with a focus on risk-aware strategies. This role requires a sophisticated investment leader with a strong background in corporate governance, and sustainability, and a deep understanding of economic and policy factors that impact financial markets. The Managing Director will also be tasked with operational and personnel management, including general management excellence, and will be expected to act as a mentor and foster a culture of professional growth and transparency within the team.
Candidates for the Managing Director position must have a baccalaureate degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a graduate degree or CFA designation, and a minimum of 10 years of investment experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in portfolio and manager selection, as well as experience in total-fund contribution and leadership. Essential competencies include strategic vision, technical proficiency, and the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships.
