Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
This is a 100% onsite position. Remote is not an option.
Temp to hire after about 6 months.
Training period will involve learning Encon's products
Will be qualifying leads generated from marketing, following up on leads, and working in the CRM. Will require fast response times.
Requires previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position.
Sales experience in a B2B setting preferred.
Heavy email and phone work required. Must have excellent communication skills. Must be able to talk with customers and team members.
Familiarity with a CRM is required, such as Epicor (Kinetic), Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, MS Dynamics, etc.
MS Office experience required (Excel and Outlook)

Roles & Responsibilities
Position Summary
Responsible for developing new leads, managing incoming marketing leads, communicating with the sales team and customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You should be able to close sales and meet targets through digital and phone communication methods.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Maintain Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) daily reports and updates.
Generates revenue by actively pursuing all incoming lead sources, soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts.
Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new account, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
Manages new orders and inquiries by answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries and verifying and entering information.
Fills orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery date, and explaining stock‑outs and delivery time periods
Develops accounts by checking customer's buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
Maintains communication regarding open leads by reporting and tracking progress to accommodate sales forecasting.
Maintains and improves quality of the inside sales process by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures.
Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
Accomplishes department and organization goals by facilitating the needs of the inside sales position and being open to different requests to support other areas of the company.
Minimum Qualifications
Degree preferred not required.
3-5 years of industry sales experience preferred.
Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operating systems such as Epicor.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong listening and sales skills.
Ability to meet quality and efficiency standards.
