Description
The Strategic Advisor supports senior leadership by enhancing operational effectiveness, improving communication flow, and helping coordinate strategic priorities across the organization. This role ensures alignment, clarity, and momentum by supporting ongoing initiatives, facilitating collaboration, and helping maintain the organization’s operating rhythm.
While project management is part of the role, it is not the primary emphasis. Instead, this position focuses on enabling leadership, supporting cross functional coordination, and advancing team engagement and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and an excellent communicator, with the ability to manage sensitive information and build strong working relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Support
Assist leadership in translating strategic priorities into clear plans, milestones, and communications.
Support the development and tracking of goals, metrics, and key initiatives.
Anticipate risks, gaps, or operational issues and help surface them for discussion.
Coordination of Initiatives & Light Project Management
Help manage the flow of work across initiatives by tracking timelines, follow ups, and dependencies.
Support project leads by maintaining simple project documents such as status updates, action logs, and progress summaries.
Facilitate meetings by preparing agendas, capturing decisions, and ensuring follow through.
Coordinate cross functional efforts to keep work aligned and moving forward.
Communication & Leadership Support
Prepare briefings, presentations, talking points, and communication materials for leadership.
Summarize complex information into clear, actionable insights for various audiences.
Help manage communication flow across teams to ensure transparency and consistency.
Cross Functional Alignment
Serve as a connector between departments, ensuring the right people are engaged at the right time.
Build strong relationships across teams to support collaboration and alignment.
Act as a point of contact for questions, clarifications, and information routing.
Team Engagement & Culture
Promote team engagement by planning and supporting team building events and activities.
Support efforts that strengthen collaboration, communication, and a positive team culture.
Operational Rhythm & Business Support
Help maintain the organization’s operating cadence, including planning cycles, business reviews, and leadership meetings.
Support preparation of materials for audits, reviews, or regulatory needs as required.
Monitor key deadlines to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Finance, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1–3 years of experience in operations, project coordination, business analysis, or executive support.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage sensitive or confidential information with professionalism.
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities.

Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40 hours per week
Work Schedule: Monday- Friday in Irving, TX (4 days in Irving, TX office)
