The PR Specialist creates and maintains a positivepublicimage for the organization. They write press materials, coordinate media outreach, managepubliccommunications, and support brand reputation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implementpublicrelationsstrategies and campaigns
Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, and statements
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and media outlets
Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on PR performance
Organize press conferences, media events, andpublicappearances
Manage crisis communications and respond to media inquiries
Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to ensure consistent messaging
Create content for newsletters, speeches, websites, and promotional materials
Track industry trends and competitor activities
Qualifications & Skills Education Bachelor’s degree inPublicRelations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
Experience 2–5 years of experience in PR, communications, or mediarelations
Required Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong mediarelationsand networking abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Proficiency in PR tools and media monitoring platforms
Crisis management and strategic thinking skills
Social media and digital communication knowledge
Preferred Qualifications Experience in corporate or agency PR
Knowledge of branding and marketing principles
Familiarity with analytics tools and performance measurement
